OUR FEES

Meyers & Associates offers one simple fixed fee of $1,850 for single family residential transactions whether you are buying or selling and whether a co-op, condo or house is involved. There is an additional charge of $250 if the client will not be present at the closing and Mr. Meyers is requested to close the transaction for you as power of attorney.

The above fixed fee will apply to most residential transactions. Rarely, the amount of legal work that goes into a transaction is out of the ordinary due to unforeseen issues, extensive negotiations, or serious delays. If this happens, Mr. Meyers will discuss the fee situation with you at that time and a reasonable adjustment will be made.

The above fixed fee includes $50 to cover typical disbursements for overnight courier, messenger and counsel transportation costs to and from the closing. If actual disbursements for such items exceed $50 then the fee will be adjusted accordingly.

A retainer of $925 is due at retention with the balance due at the closing.

The above fees do not apply to commercial transactions which are typically billed on an hourly basis.
